Urban Decay - Social Media
An agency reached out to me to assist with an overhaul of Urban Decay’s Instagram channel. They were undergoing a rebrand/new art direction and were seeking someone to strategize how to release new assets over time without it seeming too abrupt to their audiences. Over several weeks I worked on a concept of how to tie their existing brand in with their new style visually.
I started with existing assets supplied to me, and with a general “style” I developed new graphics to show how they could compose these product stories overtime. Tying together seasonal color palettes present in their products and the California punk/skater visual style they were aiming for, I created template files for them to simply drop in brand or UGC imagery in the future.
